Experience: Math Tutor, Madison Consolidated High School, October 2011 – Present: I work with a group of high school Algebra II students twice a week, leading group discussions over confusing math topics, answering questions, teaching new math techniques, and grading assignments/participation. Math Tutor, Southwestern Elementary School, January 2012 – April 2012: Worked with one fifth grade student every week on basic math (fractions, multiplication, fractions) and correcting tests/homework assignments. Classes: High School - Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, AP Statistics, AP Calculus College - Calculus II, Calculus III, Logic, Linear Algebra, Probability and Statistics I love working with people and I have always found teaching and helping others very rewarding. Also, I chose Math as my major simply because I love math, so naturally, reaching out to school-aged kids that need a little extra help with their math classes is a logical next step towards a teaching or tutoring career.

Watching movies with my family and friends. Taking Zumba and yoga classes, or following a session on DVD. Singing (I am an alto in two college choirs) Riding my bike around campus. (It is a yellow cruiser and really stands out in a crowd!) Swimming (I have always loved the water, ever since I could float.) Traveling (Different states, another country, whatever I can get!)
